YOGA
Practicing yoga on the deck of our shala is something that is worth the trip. Surrounded by pristine jungle and soothed by the simultaneous sounds of waves and waterfalls, any yogi is sure to find bliss. The platform looks out over a deep, lush, ravine to the sea. Montezuma is east facing - so it is a perfect place to welcome the sunrise. Our shala can comfortably accommodate 18 mats - the maximum number of guests the retreat center can hold. The deck is also a perfect spot for community dinners.
SPIRITUAL
Sunshine Sanctuary is designed to offer our guests a time out of time. The retreat center has everything that a group could need to relax and sink into Pura Vida. We can help organize beautiful, fresh, local meals and transportation. Complete privacy and the 150 meter long, 300 meter high walking bridge over an expanse of untouched junge sets Sunshine Sanctuary apart.
DANCE & MUSIC
Sunshine Sanctuary was created as a space to play and enjoy the natural wonder of the tropical paradise that surrounds it. The yoga shala is a perfect space to dance and create music. The location mimics movement and inspires innovation. The space is perfect for collaborative groups, committed creators, or for the exploration of the imaginative spirit.
